Our Story

Oslo Streetfood, 2018 — and Ruth’s uncle in Hawaii

Ruth is from Hawaii. The poke bowls and poke nachos at her uncle’s place became the concept, and in 2018 the first location opened in Oslo Streetfood.

Hamar followed at the end of 2020, when the Halvorsen family moved to Stange to open in Matkvartalet. They made it through two years of pandemic, and in early 2022 they expanded to Barcode Streetfood.
